By integrating core business disciplines such as management, marketing, and finance with IT specialisations in either Artificial Intelligence or Cybersecurity, students gain a competitive edge in industries where digital transformation is reshaping business operations. Students can also choose a specialisation in Accounting to multiply their career prospects.

The Bachelor of Information Technology includes 300 hours of work experience in the IT industry.
The Business core units course progression includes professional work experience in a business organisation.
Students will choose one of the following Information Technology specialisations:
Artificial Intelligence: offers students a unique curriculum that not only covers cutting-edge AI technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, image and vision, and large language models but also trains students to apply them to modern software development and use AI tools and applications for everyday/business tasks.
Cybersecurity: equips students with the skills and knowledge to protect data and infrastructure in today’s increasingly digital world. Covering key areas including governance, risk and compliance, infrastructure security, network security, systems security, software security, and application security, this specialisation provides a comprehensive understanding of both the technical and strategic aspects of cybersecurity.
Additionally, students can choose an optional Business specialisation:
Accounting: develops knowledge and skills in taxation regulation, financial reporting, auditing and portfolio management as well as business finance. his accredited specialisation academically prepares students to become a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or Tax Practitioner.

Course requirements
To be eligible to receive the Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Business, students must complete the equivalent of 32 units (384 credit points) comprising:
- 13 Business Core units (168 credit points), and
- 8 Information Technology core units (96 credit points) and
- 1 Information Technology specialisation (120 credit points).
OR
- 1 Accounting specialisation (168 credit points), and
- 8 Information Technology core units (96 credit points) and
- 1 Information Technology specialisation (120 credit points).
