Unit description

This unit aims to teach students advanced object-oriented concepts and their application in a modern API. It focuses on object-oriented programming, development frameworks, and integrating AI into software development.

Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

modify and enhance existing object-oriented programs to expand functionality

design, implement, and test new object-oriented programs to meet specific requirements

apply class design techniques to develop robust, maintainable, and efficient code

select and implement appropriate data structures and algorithms to solve programming problems.
