Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
explain key cybersecurity principles, focusing on their role in securing organisational data, systems, and networks from cyber threats
analyse cyber threats and mitigation techniques
analyse cyber security laws and ethics, as well as administration processes
explain the key concepts of security, compliance, and identity, and demonstrate the ability to work with cloud services for effective data protection, regulatory compliance, and secure access management.
