Unit description

Introduces students to the fundamental concepts of blockchain and distributed ledger technology. Students will learn how blockchain works and explore its real-world applications in areas such as digital payments and supply chain management. The unit will cover core topics like consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, and the basics of blockchain security.

Module 1:  Introduction to Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology.

Module 2:  Blockchain models and protocols.

Module 3:  Blockchain development frameworks.

Module 4:  Blockchain cryptocurrency applications.
