Unit aim
Examines tourist behaviour and the consequences of that behaviour using the theoretical insights drawn from social psychology, sociology, cultural geography and anthropology. The unit explores the tourist experience in relation to pre-travel, at-destination, and post-travel phases. Tourist behaviour and the socio-cultural and environmental impacts of the behaviour and social interactions are examined at individual, social group and societal levels.
