Unit aim

Prepares future teachers to participate effectively as casual teachers in a variety of educational settings with a diverse range of students. A portfolio of resources will be developed.

3 formulate strategies for securing casual teaching in a range of settings and plan for ongoing professional development and accreditation
4 develop strategies to build professional resilience
5 link classroom management knowledge to specific needs of the casual teaching role
6 create a portfolio of practical resources in preparation for casual teaching in varied settings
