Unit aim
This unit builds on Curriculum Specialisation Unit I to extend students’ understanding of secondary teaching in the key learning area of Human Society and its Environment (HSIE). There is further opportunity for students to reflect critically on a range of pedagogical and curriculum issues related to the teaching of HSIE in the modern world.
Unit content
In relation to at least two (2) HSIE Stage 6 syllabus areas:
- Knowledge of HSIE Stage 6 syllabi content
