Unit aim
Students have the opportunity to integrate clinical practice and theory and extend and consolidate knowledge and skills required for entry level speech pathology practice.
Unit content
- Portfolio development and review
- Reflective practice
- Linking theory and practice to professional competencies (reasoning, communication, learning and professionalism)
- Linking theory and practice to range of practice principles (including evidence based practice, ICF, culturally responsive services and IPP)
- COMPASS Entry Level in relation to professional competencies and CBOS Units
- Ethics pertaining to report writing
Learning outcomes
