Unit aim
Engages students in a staged thesis unit for the Bachelor of Indigenous Studies honours program. Students have the opportunity to complete a thesis under the guidance of a supervisor. This is the second of a series of thesis units for the Bachelor of Indigenous Studies Honours Programs (the other units are SOC40021 and SOC40023).
Unit content
With guidance from an academic supervisor, students will typically cover the following topics:
- Planning and conducting a research project
- Relevant methodologies and methods
- Literature review
- Thesis planning
- Conducting the research project
- Writing a draft thesis
- Completing the thesis for submission.
Learning outcomes
