UG Coursework Unit
Level of learning
Provides students with the essential facts of human development from conception to birth. The unit develops an understanding of both normal and abnormal embryological development and is taught with clinical examples of relevance to the student. The study of histology is taught in order to provide an appreciation of the cellular basis of physiology and pathology. Emphasis is placed on the relationship between structure and function.

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit.
