Unit aim

Allows Masters students to undertake a major individual investigation that involves the application of multidisciplinary skills, and to prepare a report with a research focus or integrated management focus. Masters students are encouraged to submit an article to a refereed journal if they complete this unit and SCI03072. Research Project I is a double weighted unit.

Unit content

This is an independent research unit and there is no formal syllabus. On completion of Research Project I students should be able to develop a research proposal, conduct an independent research study and present a seminar on a research topic.

6 demonstrate the ability to interpret the results of field work/experiments with special consideration to the scientific literature.
