Learning outcomes and graduate attributes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

1 write a project proposal (to a professional standard) in the field of environmental science, management, education and/or tourism
2 demonstrate creative skills in project design and information acquisition, interpretation and analysis
3 meet project and reporting deadlines
4 present a seminar on a project topic
5 produce a professional report that critically analyses existing literature, documents (ethical) methodology, reflects confidence to work with environmental data and synthesises existing knowledge with results
6 demonstrate that they are ready to make the transition into a professional area relevant to environmental science, management, education and/or tourism.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
