Level of learning
Provides students with grounding in the core knowledge and skills associated with strategic land use planning at both local and regional levels. This unit will provide foundation skills to support student practice in the field of strategic planning through examination of key knowledge areas including statutory context, strategic thinking, community engagement, plan making and mapping.
Topic 1: Statutory Context for Strategic Planning in NSW

Topic 4: Demographics and Trend Analysis
Topic 5: Opportunities and Constraints Mapping
Topic 6: Community Involvement in Strategic Planning

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit.
