Unit aim
Introduces students to the use and interpretation of diagnostic imaging and laboratory modalities in the assessment of clients. Students will learn through case based studies.

- Magnetic resonance imaging
- Diagnostic Ultrasound
- Scintigraphy

- Radiographic views and Anatomy
- Systematic interpretation of diagnostic imaging for lower limb conditions
- Referral for diagnostic imaging
- Laboratory and hospital investigations
- Integration of diagnostic imaging and laboratory investigations in the assessment of a patient
