Unit aim
Introduces participants to the emerging discipline of risk and resilience engineering. Participants will examine real-life case studies of crisis and disaster events in critical infrastructure, engineering, and asset management organisations.

Risk management including standards and frameworks
Resilience engineering theory and practice
Managing Safety, Safety culture and safety climate
Developing management practices that foster resilience
Case studies in risk and disaster management
