Unit aim
Enhances the student’s skill and knowledge base in osteopathic diagnosis and technique towards a level required for independent osteopathic practice. This includes critical analysis, management of presentations in the immunological, cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, obstetrics and genitourinary systems and advanced master classes.
Unit content
Concepts of advanced osteopathic practice as applied to:
- The Lymphatic System
- The autonomic nervous system
- The Respiratory System
- The Gastrointestinal System
- The Genitourinary System
- The Obstetrics patient
- The Gynaecological system
Master Classes in osteopathic management of complex patients.
