For Students in Bachelor of Nursing (3005105): NRS71003 - Health Assessment AND ( BIO00307 - Human Physiology OR BIO71002 - Human Physiology I AND BIO71003 - Human Physiology II BIO71003 - Human Physiology II] ) AND must have completed or be currently enrolled in BIO10662 - Systemic Anatomy. For students in Bachelor of Nursing - Enrolled Nurse Pathway (3007303): Must have completed or be currently enrolled in BIO20003 - Intermediate Anatomy and Physiology.

Unit aim

Develops assessment, clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills. Students will build upon knowledge and skills in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and evidence based-practice to demonstrate skills in clinical reasoning and diagnosis. Students will identify, collate and comprehend clinical data, including laboratory and radiology, with which to make clinical decisions.
