This unit aims to develop the student's competence in utilising a "home" (computer based) studio along with concepts and techniques associated with producing music using digital audio technology.

- Aspects of rhythm: polyrhythms, contemporary patterns, swing factors
- Electronic music textures
- Analysis of contemporary production processes and techniques
