Learning outcomes and graduate attributes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

1 Demonstrate foundational contemporary music performance techniques on selected instrument (drums, bass, guitar or keyboards) or in singing.
2 Demonstrate foundational artistic, technical and performance skills in an ensemble setting.
3 Demonstrate knowledge and skills relating to occupational health and safety in music rehearsal, performance and/or recording
4 Evaluate and reflect on self and others' skill levels, development and artistry and implement strategies to improve targeted areas in relation to both individual studio practice and in an ensemble setting.
5 Demonstrate a range of personal, interpersonal, creative and organisational skills in a collaborative music making context.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
