Unit aim

Enables students to undertake analysis of a business, industry or social problem or opportunity at a substantially independent level in this (Part B) capstone research unit. Through learning, developing and applying an evidence-based research design, students create an industry-accessible publication that reports on the research process and elaborates on the business solutions and/or research implications.

Unit content

Part A of the Industry Research Project Unit enables students to design a research project. The project is executed and completed in Part B of Industry Research Project. The topics covered in Part B include:

  • Collecting data: ethics and considerations
  • Quantitative Data Analysis
  • Qualitative Data Analysis
  • Reporting to Industry
  • Actioning Research
