Unit aim
Enables students to undertake analysis of a business, industry or social problem or opportunity at a substantially independent level in this (Part A) capstone research unit. Through learning, developing and applying an evidence-based research design, students create an industry-accessible publication that reports on the research process and elaborates on the business solutions and/or research implications.
Unit content
Part A of the Industry Research Project Unit enables students to design a research project. The project is executed and completed in Part B of Industry Research Project. The topics covered in Part A include:
- What is research? & Identifying research problems and opportunities
- Reviewing previous research literature
- Designing a research project
- Understanding data analysis
- Developing Qualitative Research Tools
- Developing Quantitative Research Tools
