Unit aim

Introduces participants to research related to real world engineering, infrastructure, or asset management issues and opportunities in industry. Participants will learn about the research process, identify a suitable issue for research, and identify suitable research tools to address the issue.

4 develop, pilot and apply critical research tools that have the potential to solicit required data to analyse a given problem.
