MNG00785 - Project Management AND Student enrolled in the MBA course: plus 48 credit points from any other 4 units in Part A of the MBA schedule of units. OR Students enrolled in the MHROD course: plus 60 credit points from any 5 units in Part A of the MHROD schedule of units. OR Students enrolled in the MPA course: plus 36 Credit points from Part B of the MPA schedule of units

Unit aim

Allows student to complete a substantial independently directed industry project using evidence-based research and present a well documented business report in a form suitable for presentation to a business board or industry panel. This unit is an opportunity to undertake real world business related study and investigation with application and relevance to the workplace under the supervision of a staff member. Students need to complete this unit with a focus on the area of specialisation they have chosen, unless they have not chosen to complete a specialisation.

  • Identifying and qualifying problems worthy of further investigation
  • Writing a project proposal
  • Approaches to solving business problems
  • Overview of research methods
  • Reviewing literature and prior research
  • Data gathering and analysis for Industry Research Project
  • Preparing a final report.
