Unit aim

Introduces students to the phenomenon of Special Interest Tourism and its relationship to more traditional forms of tourism and leisure. Critically examines various special interest and 'niche' tourism market segments, the growth and diversity of these segments, and their impact on individuals, communities, the tourism industry and policy makers.
