Unit aim

Utilises case studies drawn from areas such as public health, nursing, midwifery, sports and exercise science, and biomedical science to equip students with an understanding of contemporary approaches to research and evaluation as applied in real-world settings. Through a process of critical evaluation, personal refection and critical conversations with appointed thesis supervisor/s and colleagues, students will critically review research methodology.

  • Systematic review and meta-analytic procedures
