Learning outcomes and graduate attributes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

1 develop high level skills in the analysis of legal problems in tort, and formulate appropriate written responses to demonstrate those skills.
2 demonstrate an understanding of the core principles of the torts of defamation, trespass and nuisance; economic and intentional torts
3 Demonstrate an ability to develop a sustained legal argument both orally and in writing in a logical and effective way and apply case law and legislative provisions to solve factual legal problems relating to the law of torts;

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
