On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

1 identify and analyse the laws, treaties, and conventions seeking to protect marine animals
2 assess the objectives of the government policies, including protecting marine mammals, fish and birds, promoting economic growth, and trade
3 evaluate proposals to change current laws concerning marine animal protection
4 demonstrate skills in the research and presentation of argument in the field of marine animal protection law.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
