Learning outcomes and graduate attributes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

1 Demonstrate an understanding of the operation of the Military Compensation scheme
2 Understand and apply the eligibility and assessment tests for Service Pensions
3 Understand and explain how compensation, damages and Veterans pensions are offset
4 Critically evaluate current legal issues in veterans Law
5 Apply knowledge of the applicable law and procedures in the preparation and presentation of a case for hearing before the Veterans Review Board and AAT
