Pre-requisites

Students in the Bachelor of Laws, Associate Degree in Law (Paralegal Studies) and Bachelor of Legal and Justice Studies must have completed LAW00051 - Legal Research and Writing AND LAW00111 - Legal Process OR LAW10157 - Australian Legal System. Business students must have completed LAW00150 - Introduction to Business Law.

Unit aim

Explores the application of equal employment opportunity and workplace health and safety legislation to the workplace. Students gain a working knowledge of EEO and work health and safety principles, the practice of these laws in the workplace and their importance in creating a healthy, safe and non-discriminatory workplace culture.
