Unit aim

This unit provides students with an introduction to the essential elements of website development from design to implementation. Students will be introduced to the use and reuse of media resources and program code, applying common structures and integrating multimedia elements (text, graphics, audio, animation). Web standards and current developments will be applied to web page development. Accessibility, copyright, privacy, ethical and cultural issues related to web-site development will be reviewed and implemented.
