Unit description

Teaches students the tools and strategies to present data analytics insight in a clear and accessible manner to aid decision-making. Focuses heavily on practice-based learning where students repeat the cycle of practice, feedback and reflection. Targeted individual feedback will be provided by student peers and the teaching team.

Contemporary data visualization tools and techniques.
Data visualization best practices.
Translating quantitative data into accessible information.
Effective use of visualizations in reports and presentations.
Information-based communication and presentation skills.
