Unit aim
This unit explores cultural frameworks for social interaction and learning, as well as Indigenous Knowledge frameworks for understanding relational practice, Respectful engagement and the re-conception of human interactions. Students will engage in yarning and yarning circle methods for Indigenous teaching, learning, problem identification and cultural affirmation during a compulsory 4-day residential workshop.

Topic 2: Indigenous Pedagogy - methodologies and methods
Topic 3: Relational practice within environments
Topic 4: Yarning principles and practice
Learning outcomes
Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
