Unit aim

This unit examines the context of Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander Knowledge and other Indigenous Knowledge in different places on Country and presents Indigenous Knowledge as a way of knowing from which a relational experience of our world emerges. Students will explore frameworks for successfully engaging with Elders' understanding of Country and learn respect for living knowledge as a positive promotion of Indigenous understandings.
