Introduces students to the field of Lifestyle Medicine, and the foundations of the discipline.

Unit content

  2. Determinants of Health and Lifestyle disease.
  3. Nutrition and Health.
  4. Physical Activity and Health.
  5. Sleep and Health.
  6. Practitioner Health and Wellbeing.

Learning outcomes

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

4 Identify approaches to monitor and support practitioner health and wellbeing.
