Learning outcomes and graduate attributes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

1 analyse critical questions about the evidence basis of osteopathic health care
2 develop and reflect upon safe and contextually relevant patient handling and interactive skills
3 analyse and interpret relevant information to support clinical reasoning for advanced osteopathic diagnosis (integrative neuromusculoskeletal)
4 provide the reasoning underpinning the high velocity manipulative techniques in selected regions of the musculoskeletal system and demonstrate their use.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
