Learning outcomes and graduate attributes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

1 Analyse the osteopathic concept of health and disease
2 explain how osteopathic principles shape diagnosis and treatment
3 demonstrate and explain basic osteopathic diagnosis
4 demonstrate and explain soft tissue, myofascial and positional release techniques
5 demonstrate and reflect upon safe and competent patient handling skills
6 apply the knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy to palpation.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
