Unit aim

Provides students with an appreciation of the contemporary health science research landscape and the process of managing research. Skill is acquired in systematically locating and appraising published research, the conduct of ethical research and project management.

2 demonstrate an understanding of strategies necessary to initiate, plan, implement, finalise and disseminate the results of a health sciences project.

5 demonstrate knowledge of the principles and practices of health science research.
