Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

1 design and conduct a comprehensive bibliographic search
2 demonstrate an understanding of strategies necessary to initiate, plan, implement, finalise and disseminate the results of a health sciences project.
3 demonstrate an understanding of ethical and privacy considerations associated with the design and conduct of health science research
4 demonstrate autonomy, well developed judgement, adaptability and responsibility as a learner
5 demonstrate knowledge of the principles and practices of health science research.
