Unit aim
Introduces paradigms and frameworks for understanding change, development and learning across the lifespan, with a focus on childhood and adolescence. Students explore current research and case studies to understand interactions between biological, psychological, and socio-environmental changes and developments. The unit provides opportunities for understanding and applying educational principles and practices with an emphasis on inclusion and diversity, differentiated learning design, behaviour support and critical and creative thinking.
