Unit aim

Engages students in an  investigation of an educational problem, or area of knowledge need. The Units "Research Project Part 1", and "Research Project Part 2" will result in the production of a Project Report.

To be completed by the student and the supervisor to reflect to chosen educational problem, or area of knowledge need.

1 Formulate one or more research questions in response to the research literature associated with the topic under investigation.
2 Recognise the appropriate methodological approach, and ethical considerations necessary to investigate the topic, including data collection and analysis procedures.
3 Critically evaluate issues relating to topic and produce a report that meets the specifications detailed in this unit statement.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
