1 Identify the physical, social/emotional and cognitive development and characteristics of children and adolescents, and how these may influence learning
2 Understand the significance of social and emotional wellbeing on learning and development
3 Demonstrate how theories that inform learning and development are implemented in learning and teaching contexts
4 Identify how different theoretical perspectives inform understandings of the development and learning of children and adolescents
5 Identify how the socio-cultural contexts of children and adolescents influences learning and development, including Indigenous perspectives.
