This unit offers the opportunity to extend Arts practice and expertise to enhance the meaningful inclusion of the Arts in schools. The unit creatively explores the many ways that the Arts can be incorporated into classrooms, the  curriculum and school culture. From immersions in the individual Arts disciplines to engaging the Arts as pedagogy in  other curriculum areas, this unit critically explores the unique impact and benefit of the Arts for children and young people, the school and wider community. The unit is designed to provide students with an advanced understanding of the Arts, as well as deeper experiences with each of the Arts domains and practices.

Learning outcomes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. These outcomes are aligned with the graduate attributes. The unit learning outcomes and graduate attributes are also the basis of evaluating prior learning.
