Unit aim
Provides students with the opportunity to build on knowledge and skills developed in other Professional Experiences units through a further classroom teaching experience as well as professional development or volunteer work in the wider education community. Students extend their understanding of how schools and teachers work within their communities, and what it means to be an effective and competent teacher.
Unit content
Module 1: Professional Development – where to now? This module requires students to attend online tutorials.
Module 2: Professional Experience This module requires students to undertake a professional experience block. This must be completed during the study period.
Learning outcomes
