Learning outcomes and graduate attributes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

1 define and explain Indigenous Classical and Neo-classical literature
2 explain the various roles of Indigenous cultural expression
3 describe the ways that Indigenous cultures have been maintained through Indigenous literature in pre- and post-colonial times
4 explain the ways that Indigenous people have been exploited given the impact of invasion
5 assess the need for legislation that maintains intellectual and cultural property rights
6 challenge dominant processes of Indigenous exploitation.
