Aims to explain the various roles of Indigenous Australian cultural expressions that have maintained Indigenous cultures in pre- and post-invasion Australian societies. The unit seeks to investigate the interaction between Indigenous and non-Indigenous expressions and to challenge dominant processes of Indigenous exploitation.
