Unit aim
Examines the links between trauma and substance abuse, childhood trauma and mental illness and the genetic and trans-generational transmission of trauma. Explores the ways that trauma interacts synergistically with other afflictions contributing to the burden of disease. Trauma recovery and case studies in individual and group resilience are explored.
