Unit aim

This unit focuses on the rights of older people to lead valued and independent lives and to participate in social and cultural life. It examines how concepts of justice, equality, independence, dignity and respect can be applied in practice to enrich the lives of older people, and examines specific legal issues relevant to an aging population.
