Learning outcomes and graduate attributes

Unit Learning Outcomes express learning achievement in terms of what a student should know, understand and be able to do on completion of a unit. On completion of this unit, students should be able to:

1 demonstrate an understanding of the pathophysiology associated with neurological, neuromuscular and immunological conditions
2 select and conduct appropriate assessments to determine the safety and efficacy of acute and chronic exercise in neurological, neuromuscular and immunological conditions
3 prescribe safe and effective exercise interventions to improve and/or maintain neurological, neuromuscular and immunological health
4 identify indications and contraindications for exercise within neurological, neuromuscular and immunological conditions
5 locate and evaluate evidence for lifestyle-related interventions to improve and/or maintain neurological, neuromuscular and immunological health
6 explain the rationale and outcomes of treatment modalities for neurological, neuromuscular and immunological conditions.

On completion of this unit, students should be able to:
