Unit description

Provides students with the opportunity to integrate university studies with experience of professional practice in a biomedical setting. Students will practise and extend knowledge and skills to an applied area of biomedical science – education, pathology or research. Students will also collate their capabilities in preparation to enter the health workforce.

  2. Interprofessional and Evidence-based Practice in Healthcare
  3. Reflective Practice, Self-care, and Emotional Intelligence
  4. Introduction to Transfusion Science in the Workplace
  5. Lab Skills Revision

Learning outcomes

apply the principles of evidence-based practice in a biomedical setting

critically reflect on your own learning as a scholar and the process for preparing to be a health professional in the biomedical setting
