Unit aim
Provides students with the opportunity to apply the principles and objectives of an effective training program. Program design is studied in detail in relation to both fitness and performance. Aspects of planning, interview, prescription, monitoring and testing techniques will be studied as well as advanced topics in exercise physiology including exercise in extreme environments, ergogenic aids, and immunology.
