Unit aim
Provides the opportunity for focused research and studio practice in an area of the creative arts. It is available to students with no studio experience (subject to demand) or to students with some experience. Programmes of study will be determined according to the skill level, aspirations of each student, and the availability of particular studio areas.

- Project proposal
- Specific areas of arts research to be individually negotiated. These areas may be technical, practical, analytical and/or theoretical in nature
- Visual documentation of project and research undertaken
- Completion of proposed project
